Whether your management infrastructure is on-premises or in the cloud, robust BitLocker management is required for today’s enterprises to secure modern endpoints.

Microsoft provides a range flexible BitLocker management alternatives to meet your organization’s needs, as follows:

1. Cloud-based BitLocker management using Microsoft Intune
2. On-premises BitLocker management using System Center Configuration Manager
3. Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM)

Ever wanted to activate a specific computer/device with Office 365 ProPlus without being worried about per user licensing?

Announcing “shared computer activation” for Office 365 ProPlus in Microsoft 365

Shared computer activation lets you to deploy Office 365 ProPlus to a computer in your organization that is accessed by multiple users. Here are some examples of supported scenarios for using shared computer activation:

• Three workers at a factory share a computer, each worker using Office on that computer during their eight-hour shift.
• Fifteen nurses at a hospital use Office on ten different computers throughout the day.
• Five employees connect remotely to the same computer to run Office.
• Multiple employees use Office on a computer that’s located in a conference room or some other public space in the company.

Normally, users can install and activate Office 365 ProPlus only on a limited number of devices, such as 5 PCs. Using Office 365 ProPlus with shared computer activation enabled doesn’t count against that limit.

Office 365 E3 subscribers are now eligible to use MyAnalytics, the personal productivity metrics solution that analyzes an individual’s work behaviors and provides insight into their productivity, leveraging information about the people they send email to & the meetings in their calendar. (Moving forward, it will also include signals about a user’s tendencies from Microsoft Teams & OneDrive for Business)

Some IT organizations however are not prepared to support MyAnalytics yet.  As an IT Professional, you can disable the Insights by MyAnalytics add-in for your entire organization by using the Exchange admin center.

Previously only available in Microsoft 365 E5 & Office 365 E5, “Microsoft MyAnalytics” has been added as a component to Microsoft 365 E3 & Office 365 E1/E3

Microsoft MyAnalytics delivers “People Analytics” & summarizes how you spend your time at work, then suggests ways to work smarter—from cutting unproductive meeting time to reducing time spent working after hours. It even uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help you stay on top of your to-dos by flagging commitments you’ve made in email.

MyAnalytics information surfaces information to the end user through 3 features:

• personal dashboard
• Outlook add-in
• weekly emails

The availability of MyAnalytics is as follows:

With today’s updates, MyAnalytics features will be available for Microsoft 365 E3, Business, and Office 365 E3, E1, Business Premium, and Business Essentials plans. MyAnalytics functionality will roll out in phases, beginning with the Outlook add-in. Beginning February 12, 2019, MyAnalytics licenses will be assigned and activated; however, users will not be able to see any MyAnalytics functionality. The add-in functionality will begin rolling out on March 12, 2019.
