Microsoft Azure’s usage in the Infrastructure as a Service space (IaaS) will exceed that of Amazon Web Services by 2019, according to the recently released 2016 CIO Survey report by Morgan Stanley.

Microsoft Azure already leads Amazon Web Services in Platform as a Service usage (PaaS) and this lead will be extended by a 1-2% going into 2019, according to the report.
