The folks at ShinySurface.com have instructions & a nice video explaining how to screen capture on your Surface. It’s quite easy – it’s just “DOWN VOLUME + WINDOWS” at the same time and the screenshot will be saved in \pictures\screenshots. (And be visible in the Photos app)
