WHITEPAPER: Windows Server Networking Guides

imageThe Windows Server Information Experience (WSiX) team has two new guides that are now available both on the Web and in the Microsoft Download Center:

Accomplish Goals with Windows Server Networking
In the guide "Accomplish Goals with Windows Server Networking," you’ll find networking goals that are presented in plain English so that you can find the right documentation, even if you aren’t yet familiar with all of the great Windows Server networking technologies.

You can find the guide in the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Technical Library, at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=194635. And it’s now available in Word format at the Microsoft Download Center, at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=204707.

Network and Sharing Center Operations Guide
Also ready for viewing now is the “Network and Sharing Center Operations Guide” for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008. Network and Sharing Center provides a centralized location where you can view, create, and modify local area network (LAN), wireless local area network (WLAN), virtual private network (VPN), dial-up, and Broadband connections on your client and server computers. In addition, you can configure connections to the local computer, as well as  sharing options that specify the content that is available to other computers and devices on the network.

You can find the guide in the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Technical Library, at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=63530. This guide is also available in Word format at the Microsoft Download Center, at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=204708.
