Apparently a year or so ago, Xbox.com produced a 24 page color guide that you can download called “Play Smart, Play Safe: A Family Guide to Video Gaming”. (Yes, I only just found it now)
This guide aims to give you all the information you need, as parents, about computer and video games. It will give you details of the age rating system which is used in most of the European Union as well as instructions on how to use the parental control features on Microsoft products, as well as other important information and tips.

And for those of you resistant to… uh… reading, there’s a video available for you to check out that’s about 6 minutes long that shows you how to set up the Xbox 360 family settings and control how much your child plays… even set a “timer allocation” down to the minute of how much game time your child gets daily.
