We have officially released SP1 for SQL Server 2005 and is available to everyone at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/sp1.mspx.
SP1 includes the production ready version of Database Mirroring, SQL Server Management Studio Express, two new Reporting Services components for SAP support, along with additional updates to Express Edition and routine fixes and feature adjustments.
The two new SAP components in SP1 are a Microsoft .NET provider for SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence and a new MDX Query Designer. This new functionality enables all SAP customers to benefit from enterprise reporting provided by SQL Server.
