This is a scary tool. And no one knows about it.
It’s the Halo 2 StatTracker. It’s written by a guy I know in the SQL Server 2005 group who wanted really deep statistics on his and his team’s game play. It’s really really exceeds the capabilities of Sam Radakovitz’s RSS Excel spreadsheet because it doesn’t depend on the RSS feed at all. It actually taps the data source apparently.
Tom, the guy that wrote the tool, did a bunch of wild stuff to get EVERY BIT of stat information out of BUNGIE.NET’s database which is a lot more than the RSS feeds. Additionally, he throws all the stats into an actual relational database.
His tool is free – you really need to look at this thing if you’re an avid Halo 2 Player.
