The famed Motorola MPX, "convertible" Pocket PC Phone device has been released and is available for purchase.
The MPX provides a full keyboard in a "flip device" form factor similar to the old Motorola paging devices of lore while being able to "convert" itself into a flip phone that works and operates just like a standard flip phone.
It’s a GSM/GPRS phone that runs on 1900mhz networks making it particularly good for T-Mobile users. It has 802.11b wireless Ethernet and it also has Bluetooth for wireless headsets. It appears to be $870 retail without a new cell plan.
Take a look at it.
